TIMED SWIM INFO

DATES (tbc)……..The FIRST Wednesday evening of each month May-Sept 2018:

• May 2nd
• June 6th
• July 4th
• August 1st
• Sept 5th

More details below:

• Register from 5.30pm (earlier the better as there is likely to be a queue later on)
• 7pm mass start (briefing 6.55pm)
• Distances: 400m, 750m, 1500m, 1.9k, 3.8k, PLEASE DECIDE on distance BEFORE registering, to prevent queue hold ups!
• Prices from £5-£12, cash only, PLEASE BRING CHANGE if you can!
• Fully lifeguarded
• Lake 86 (GL7 5TL), situated just before Cotswold Outdoor centre on the Spine road, look out for the orange kayak).
• Coffee/snacks van on site during the event
• Male/female change areas now built!
• Portable toilets
• Lots of parking on site
• Cycle there, practice transitions and run after 🏃if you want to!
• Compete against yourself, each other, the clock or just complete the distance!
• Encouraging all levels from novices, to regular open water swimmers and seasoned triathletes – a distance to suit all
• Times will be put on the Facebook page/website the following day.
