WE AIM TO MOTIVATE, INSPIRE AND EDUCATE ALL SWIMMERS!
Helping to improve their Knowledge, Confidence, Techniques and Efficiency in water and ultimately in the Open water.
Kim Boon is a fully qualified Sports Therapist, Tutor, Assessor and ASA swim coach. She is also an established open water swimmer (Solo English Channel 2011). Her knowledge is enhanced by her own personal achievements in the past in Triathlon (GB Age Group Team), Running, Netball, Endurance events, Surf Lifesaving and Open Water Swimming.
Her own love for swimming and the open water means she has a keen interest in swim coaching 1 to 1 and introducing people to the open water. She has helped many triathletes and swimmers improve their swimming technique and confidence, from beginners to elite level. She can be found regularly swimming and coaching at local venues.
This passion has stimulated her to add to her current Owensis Sports Therapy Clinic business, by setting up KimOSwim, specialising in Open Water coaching and swim technique/analysis.
She can now offer 1 to 1 sessions at an Endless Pool at Pamington, Tewkesbury (for stroke specific work), and open water 1 to 1 sessions at Lake 31, Cotswold Country Park & Beach. Small bespoke group sessions are also possible.
Summer ‘Mastering Open Water Swimming’ group coaching courses are also available to aid swimmers of all levels. Timed Training Swims have also been set up to offer swimmers and triathletes the opportunity to swim open water and swim against themselves, the clock or each other!
During the winter KimOSwim offers a swim technique clinic at Brockworth Sports Centre. A series of 5 sessions, once per month – breaking down and building back up the front crawl stroke, ready for the next season.
Kim is keen to encourage and motivate more people into this fast growing sport in a safe, professional environment. That way they can achieve their swimming goals, improve themselves and experience the stimulation open water swimming brings.
